This city gem has been expertly preserved by the Naples Historical Society, which allows visitors to take guided tours through the rustic two-story home while hearing anecdotes about the location.
Palm Cottage hosts events throughout the year, including a Gatsby-themed party, Clue game night, and antique Q&As. If you’re in the area during the holidays, you can’t miss the famous Christmas activities.
Tin City
Nestled on the Gorden River, Tin City was the hub of Naples’ fishing industry during the 1920s. Named for the plethora of tin-roofed buildings in the area, what was once a hotspot for clam processing and boat construction is now home to a boardwalk with dozens of quaint boutiques. Tin City prides itself on having zero chain stores, so every place you visit will be completely one-of-a-kind and unable to be found anywhere else.
Tin City still pays tribute to its oceanic roots, as activities like jet ski rides, cruises, and fishing expeditions are still available as well.
Third Street South
Known as “the birthplace of Naples,” Third Street South is a historical center of the city. Surrounded by original beach cottages and homes in an area known as Old Naples, Third Street South offers a view of history on all sides.

Naples Beach Hotel and Golf Club
Offering tennis courts, golf courses, and a state-of-the-art spa, Naples Beach Hotel and Golf Club is the ideal setting for a relaxing weekend getaway or afternoon of leisure. Originally constructed in the 1880s near the Naples fishing pier, the 18-hole golf course was added in 1929 along with the Beach Club. In 1946, retired toy manufacturer Henry B. Watkins built the new location nearby where it still stands today.
The golf course was recently renovated by legendary designer Jack Nicklaus along with renowned architect John Sanford. In addition, local artists have contributed to the decor in the rooms, making it one of the most unique beach resorts in the state.
