Welcome to Park Shore

Park Shore real estate offers home buyers the opportunity for maintenance-free living in one of the luxury high-rise condos or the space and privacy of single family property. The streets and properties of Park Shore are lush with a variety of flora, including palm trees and banyans. There are a large proportion of Mediterranean style condominiums in Park Shore, with contemporary construction gaining popularity.

Boating and fishing enthusiasts will find many Park Shore properties suitable for docking fishing or pleasure craft. The position of Park Shore real estate along Venetian Bay and the many deep water canals makes it possible for owners of larger craft to dock them comfortably on their property. For those with truly impressive marine vehicles or those who want the conveniences of a yacht club, there are a number of clubs in the area where dockage can be obtained.

Park Shore real estate has a venerable history in Naples. In 1964, Raymond Lutgert - the Renaissance man of Naples, as future years would prove - purchased 750 acres of undeveloped Naples land. It was bordered by 1.5 miles of Gulf beach on one side and by Highway 41 on the other.

Lutgert was not just after real estate development. Park Shore would be the first master-planned development of Naples and Lutgert spared no effort on creating a lasting design that future developments would be modeled after. Over a period of 4 years, Lutgert worked with a variety of land and building professionals, not only to create Venetian Bay and the canals that Park Shore is situated on, but also to develop a storm drain system and underground utilities.

The year 1970 marked the beginning of construction of what is now Park Shore. There were 29 land parcels in the acreage that Lutgert was developing. Colony Gardens was the first condominium complex, featuring mid-rise apartments, townhomes and private dockage. More condominiums would follow, construction continuing well into the 2000s.

In 1988, Park Shore's celebrated shopping district, the Village on Venetian Bay, was opened to wide acclaim from the local public. In 1990, a second phase of the Village was introduced, bringing even more shopping and dining options to the area. In addition, the Village features frequently scheduled events that attract locals and people from the surrounding communities into Park Shore for a day or evening of entertainment.

Park Shore continues to attract real estate buyers who want luxurious home surroundings in one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Naples. Beautiful surroundings, great weather and a variety of entertainment, recreation and business opportunities make Park Shore real estate an excellent choice for living and investment.
